CJ Griffin Participating in a Virtual Event, "#Stop Asian Hate-What to DO when it happens to YOU"
On Tuesday, April 13th at 3:00P.M., CJ Griffin, Director of the Justice Gary S. Stein Public Interest Center, will participate in a virtual event that will raise awareness on Asian hate crimes and educate the public on the proper steps to take “when it happens to you” to combat it and report the incidents to police. The event is being cohosted by Asian Hate Crimes Task Force and Rise Against Hate. CJ will be presenting information so that victims of hate crimes can learn how to request police records relating to the incident. The event will be moderated by Dr. Jessica Shore and will also feature Andrew Jung, Don McCarthy, and Ashley Tan.
