Hon. Ellen L. Koblitz, P.J.A.D. (Ret.), to Moderate Upcoming NJ-AFCC Seminar “Conducting Risk Assessments in the Context of Domestic Violence where Substance Abuse, Mental Illness and/or Child Maltreatment are Present”

Hon. Ellen L. Koblitz, P.J.A.D. (Ret.), Special Counsel at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. will be the moderator for an upcoming seminar hosted by the New Jersey Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts titled “Conducting Risk Assessments in the Context of Domestic Violence where Substance Abuse, Mental Illness and/or Child Maltreatment are Present.” The CLE event will cover topics regarding the usefulness of risk assessment in cases regarding child safety, implicit bias in domestic violence cases, and the components of a Forensic Parenting Time Risk Assessment (FPTRA). The seminar event will also feature the NJ-AFCC’s annual elections and the presentation of the Phil Sobel Award, and will take place at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Bridgewater, New Jersey on April 10, 2024 from 4-8pm.
