Raymond M. Brown Panelist on Andujar Decision at the New Jersey State Bar Association Annual Meeting and Convention on May 19, 2022
Raymond M. Brown, partner at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden, will be speaking at the New Jersey State Bar Association Annual Meeting and Convention, to be held on May 18 - 20, 2022. Brown will be a panelist discussing “Beyond Andujar: A Deeper Dive,” which will be held on Thursday, May 19 from 10 a.m. –11:15. a.m. The program, cosponsored by the Minorities in the Profession Section, will discuss the historic New Jersey Supreme Court decision in State v.. Andujar and examine the scope of the Andujar decision and its impact on the following: jury selection, discriminatory background checks, implicit bias across practice areas, juror engagement, the school to prison pipeline, the foster care to prison pipeline, the reasonable child standard, changing the face of NJ prisons, NJ trial/criminal conviction rates… and more. The event will take place at the Music Box Theater, Borgata.
