In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, New Jersey and New York courts at the federal and state levels have instituted novel procedures for fully remote or hybrid trials and grand juries. This program will discuss practical aspects of preparing for and effectively conducting remote or hybrid trials and grand jury proceedings. Our experienced panelists have been instrumental in shaping the way these proceedings occur in federal and state courts in New Jersey and New York, and will offer their insights from having personally conducted these virtual proceedings.
