Distinguished Leaders: Justin Walder
Justin Walder of Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C., a former Law Journal Attorney of the Year for his work in the judicial pension case, seems to leave his mark each year. Last year was no different, and in fact, could be considered a banner year. Walder was involved in the first-ever reversal of an attorney disbarment, a punishment that is permanent in New Jersey: In that case, the Supreme Court, based on new evidence, found that client theft no longer was evident. Of even broader interest, he represented former Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Chairman David Samson, who pleaded guilty last year to bribing United Airlines officials and was sentenced more recently to home confinement rather than prison time. Even Walder’s business savvy was demonstrated, as he helped ferry through the merger of his firm, Walder Hayden, with Pashman Stein—a deal that closed in May 2016.
Our firm is proud of the results it has achieved for clients, some of which are noted here. Of course, each legal matter is unique on many levels, and past successes are not a guarantee of results in any other pending or future matters.
