Joe Hayden Quoted in Article on Sexual Abuse Claims Denied by Brooklyn Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio
Pashman Stein Walder Hayden attorney Joe Hayden represents the Roman Catholic bishop of Brooklyn, Nicholas DiMarzio, who has been the subject of two allegations of sexual abuse which allegedly occurred over 40 years ago and which Bishop DiMarzio vehemently denies. Joe Hayden was quoted in an article in the AP News, “Second man accuses Brooklyn bishop Nicholas DiMarzio of sex abuse,” which discusses the second allegation made by Samier Tadros in March.
Joseph Hayden, DiMarzio’s attorney, said in an email to the AP, “We have uncovered conclusive evidence of Bishop DiMarzio’s innocence.”
Tadros, now 46, has demanded $20 million in compensation. Hayden said, “Bishop DiMarzio will never agree to a settlement of these claims.”
