Justin Kolbenschlag Quoted in Law360 Article About His Joining Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C.
Justin Kolbenschlag, partner at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden, was quoted in the Law 360 article “Pashman Stein Adds Litigation Partner in Holmdel, NJ.” The article discusses Justin Kolbenschlag’s career and his decision to join Pashman Stein. Justin is based in the firm’s Bell Works office in Holmdel, New Jersey, and joined the firm’s Litigation, Employment Law, Cannabis & Hemp Law, and Criminal Defense and Governmental and Internal Investigations practices.
"I was introduced to the firm as an adversary on a high-profile and lengthy trial while I was a senior associate at a prior firm," he told Law360 on Tuesday. "I was impressed by Mike Stein's courtroom presence and the firm's work. Through researching the firm and meeting Mike as well as several of the partners, I learned that Mike is a true leader, and that Pashman Stein is a dynamic and forward-thinking company."
Additionally, he said, he feels as if he will be able to grow as an attorney "under the tutelage of such giants of the bar" at Pashman Stein, such as retired New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Gary Stein, Joseph A. Hayden Jr., Raymond M. Brown, Justin P. Walder and retired New Jersey Superior Court Judge Ellen L. Koblitz.
Working at Greenbaum Rowe and then running his own solo practice in Asbury Park has provided Kolbenschlag with skills he plans on applying at Pashman Stein to help the firm expand, he said.
"I was fortunate enough to receive top-notch training in the commercial litigation department of a large New Jersey law firm, where I gained the skills and versatility necessary to handle a variety of high-stakes litigation matters," he said. "Additionally, having had a solo practice gave me a better understanding of the business of the practice of law."
