Mike Stein, Managing Partner of Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C., Accepts Patriot Award Honoring Support of John Kim’s Military Service
Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. is proud to announce that Michael S. Stein, Chair and Managing Partner of the firm, was presented with the Patriot Award on January 25, 2024. The award was conferred in recognition of Stein’s ongoing support of J. John Kim and his service as an Army Judge Advocate General (JAG) Officer in the New Jersey National Guard. John Kim graduated with honors from the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s School in May 2023. In addition to serving his clients as a partner at Pashman Stein, John Kim serves in the U. S. Army New Jersey National Guard as a JAG, providing legal services to soldiers and the Army.
The Service Member Patriot Award is awarded by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a Department of Defense office, and honors efforts made to support citizen warriors through a wide range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence if needed.
“It was a long-held dream of mine to serve as a JAG in the United States Army National Guard,” said John Kim. “That dream could not have become a reality without the support and help of my partners and colleagues. The firm is my work family, and I feel enormous gratitude and pride that they support me in serving New Jersey and our great nation.”
“We couldn’t be more proud of John’s accomplishment and service,” said Mike Stein. “It is an honor for the firm to be able to provide John with the support and flexibility he needs to serve our country and provide legal services to soldiers in the Army.”
