Oren M. Chaplin Appointed North America Chair of Interlaw Ltd.’s Healthcare Special Business Team
Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. is pleased to announce that Oren M. Chaplin, Partner at the firm, has been appointed as the North America Chair of Interlaw Ltd.’s Healthcare Special Business Team. Pashman Stein Walder Hayden also serves as Interlaw’s partner firm in New Jersey.
Interlaw’s global healthcare practice advises hospitals, medical practices and facilities, med tech and pharmaceutical companies in areas such as compliance, litigation and corporate transactions. Oren has worked on transactions in the healthcare space from the corporate and business law perspective. The goal of the special business team is to share legal and business development expertise, promote best practices, and to network together and with clients.
Chaplin, who serves as co-chair of Pashman Stein’s Corporate & Business Law practice, is a corporate and business law attorney who acts as outside general counsel to businesses and business owners on legal, compliance, and contracting issues in both regular operations and special/extraordinary transactions and initiatives. He has represented clients in numerous industries, including health care and medical services, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, higher education, manufacturing, financial services, technology, e-gaming, consumer products and services, cannabis, waste management, and raw materials.
Chaplin assists clients with developing strategy, preventing liability and attaining business and individual objectives. He analyzes risks of commercial activities and helps clients with their decision-making process. He counsels clients in their life-cycle events from startup/formation, to growth, and ultimately to market exit. His experience spans a wide range of commercial contexts including relationships among equity stakeholders, between business partners, and across unrelated co-venturers.
