Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. is pleased to announce that Jhanice V. Domingo has been named chair of the firm’s Family Law Practice Group.
“Since joining Pashman Stein, Jhanice has demonstrated outstanding leadership and a steadfast commitment to excellent client service, earning the trust and respect of her clients and colleagues,” said managing partner Michael Stein. “Her vast experience in family law and statewide recognition enhances the level of services we provide our family law clients. Her innovative, collaborative, and compassionate approach has nurtured a sense of unity and enthusiasm within our expanding family law team, consequently raising the bar for our service standards.”
With more than 20 years of legal experience, Domingo is a tenacious advocate for her clients and adeptly navigates all phases of divorce and family law litigation, ranging from pre- to post-judgment proceedings. Her practice spans across the state, from intricate, high-conflict matrimonial cases to simpler family law matters that can be resolved through alternative dispute resolution. Domingo has extensive experience in handling complicated business valuations, complex analysis of executive compensations, and financial forensic evaluations. She is often engaged by physicians, attorneys, high level business executives, self-employed business owners and other professionals or their spouses. She has significant courtroom experience from private practice as well as her former position as a Somerset County Assistant Prosecutor. In addition, Domingo is a trained and Court-approved family law mediator for Court-appointed and private mediation matters and serves as an Early Settlement Panelist and Economic Mediator for several counties throughout New Jersey.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in this leadership role. Working alongside our close-knit and formidable team of skilled attorneys, retired family law judges, and dedicated staff is an incredible privilege. Together, our team is committed to upholding our firm’s tradition of delivering exceptional service to our clients,” said Domingo.
“At our firm, we offer a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach to family law. Our Family Law group collaborates with attorneys in our Trusts & Estates, Corporate & Business Law, Real Estate, Criminal Law, and Bankruptcy practice groups, among others, to ensure that our clients receive strategic guidance and access to a diverse range of expertise,” continued Domingo.
Domingo is actively involved in New Jersey’s legal community. She is a Trustee of the Bergen County Bar Association, co-chair of its Family Law Committee, and former co-chair of its Diversity Committee. Additionally, she is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Executive Committee, as well as the New Jersey Supreme Court Family Practice Committee, Non-Dissolution Subcommittee, and Domestic Violence Working Group.
Domingo is also involved with several organizations serving Asian Pacific Americans, having served as a Past President of the National Filipino American Lawyers Association and a Past President of the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey (APALA-NJ). For more than a decade, Domingo served as chair of APALA-NJ’s Judicial & Prosecutorial Appointments Committee (JPAC), during which time she worked closely with New Jersey’s elected officials to identify highly qualified minority candidates for nomination and appointment to the New Jersey State Judiciary. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of Legal Services of New Jersey.
Our firm is proud of the results it has achieved for clients, some of which are noted here. Of course, each legal matter is unique on many levels, and past successes are not a guarantee of results in any other pending or future matters.
