Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C., together with co-counsel, Carella, Bryne, Cecchi, Olstein, Brody, & Agnello, was featured in a video by the Public Justice Foundation, a non-profit organization headquartered in Washington, D.C., as a finalist for the 2021 Trial Lawyer of the Year award. The recognition of the firm and co-counsel is for the work procuring a settlement of up to $25 million in favor of a statewide class of inmates and their families in an action against Global Tel Link Corp. (GTL), a prison technology company, and its subsidiaries, regarding overcharged inmate calling services.

Pashman Stein Walder Hayden attorneys Justin P. Walder, James A. Plaisted, Dennis Smith and Matthew Frisch, along with co-counsel James Cecchi and Lindsey Taylor of Carella Byrne, were part of the legal team representing the class.
