Overview
Jacqueline (Jackie) Yarmo is an associate in the firm’s Trusts & Estates and Elder Law & Special Needs Planning practices. She focuses her practice in the areas of elder law, guardianship, probate litigation, asset preservation planning (with or without Medicaid applications), and estate planning and administration.
After graduating from Rutgers Law School, Jackie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Randal C. Chiocca in the Chancery Court of Passaic County. Jackie receives regular Court appointments in probate and guardianship matters from Passaic, Essex, and Union Counties. She has additional experience helping people solve critical concerns involving aging and special needs through her experience with the Rutgers Law School Education and Health Law Clinic; the Jewish Association Serving the Aging Community Guardian Program (New York City); Central Jersey Legal Services; and the Newark Housing Rights Coalition.
Jackie enjoys educating others and sharing insight regarding the importance of estate planning and the unique legal challenges confronted by the aging and special needs populations through speaking engagements and community outreach.
